Problem after installing winamp 5.12

I have a folder that includes 9000 mp3s. Since i installed the newest version of winamp, this folder can't be opened normally. It takes about 30 seconds to see the icons of the mp3s and as i scroll down the folder the same problem occurs. I tried to uninstall and re-install winamp but nothing happened. If i get windows media player to play mp3 files (so the icons are changed), it works perfectly. I also changed the mp3 icons but it didn't work.

Has anyone any suggestions?

If you are looking at them in Windows Explorer, that has nothing to do with Winamp at all, it's Windows trying to read the ID3 tags friom the files.

ok. but why that doesn't happen when windows media player associated with mp3 files? i think there might be a problem when refreshing icons.
