I found that if you set Winamp 2.72's Dispalay option to "Minimize to System tray Only" that you are occasionally (but predictably) unable to restore the application. This usually happens after two or three minimizations. I unable to determine if this is OS related.

I doubt they'll prove relevant, but I'll run-down the specs just in case.

I am running Windows ME on:

PIII 500 FCPGA
Asus P3V/4X MB (BOIS date 06/12/00)
128 MB PC100 SDRAM
MAXTOR 40GB ATA-100 HD
ATI RAGE FURY (driver revision 4.12.6292)
ATI TV Wonder (Driver MM_Center 2.0)
DUAL 3COM EXHERLINK XL 10/100 PCI NIC (WinME drivers)
SB LIVE VALUE (driver date 04/18/00)
Too many peripherals to list...

Configuration:

Cable Internet Connection serving internal network using ICS (MSFT-NET Client Un-bound NIC 1)
Machine Priority set to Network Server
Fixed Swap File Minimum of 256MB
APM Setting 10min Monitor Off

Background Applications:

SB Live AudioHQ
Norton System Works 2001 (AV Only resident)
Microsoft Personal Web Server
Sony ABCD 1.5
Logitech Key Commander 1.4
WINLirc 0.6
IRAssistant 3.31
AutoIP Publisher 1.93M
MSN Messenger
EZDesk 1.7
Wicked3D launcher
Lvcoms (Logitech Camera Agent)
Windows Media Encoder Agent
ATI Scheduler (TV Tuner Card)
PC Health (WinME System Restore Monitor)
