returning to default settings?

every time i restart my computer winamp resets, the modern skin turns to classic, my equaliser setting are turned 'flat' and are turned off.....and despite how many times i enter it i cant get rid of that 'send annonymous statistics' thing.

anyone have any suggestions?

If you continue to have registration troubles after installing…

1. Wile Winamp is not running open, go to the Winamp folder and open the Winamp.ini file in Notepad or your favorite text editor.

2. Under the [WinampReg] section add or edit the following lines accordingly...

NeedReg=0
IsFirstInst=0

3. Save Winamp.ini

Still having troubles? Please provide system specs.

Sounds like the Window Washer (or similar cleanup utilty) issue, where it keeps deleting winamp.ini
