Looking for a replaygain plugin for winamp 5...

Hi, im looking for a replay gain plugin. I cant seem to find one for the current winamp version. Do people not use replay gain or am I missing them when I search?

Any help would be great, thanks.

Another question that is quite stupid. I can figure out how to get songs to play one after another. I am not talking about gapless playback, simply playing the next song in the list. I've been looking int he settings and prefrences for the past 15 minutes.

in_vorbis can read and apply replaygain as tagged in the files. other input plugins bundled dont have replaygain support, and there is no replaygain prescanner/dsp combo like you will find in foobar. So if you're wanting replaygain on your files, I suggest applying the changes to your files directly. iirc, it can store this information in the files comment field so that it can be undone at a later date.

with regards to your playback issue, i believe you may have "manual playlist advance" checked in the playlist settings. uncheck it and it will act normally.

Thanks.

If I add replay gain from foobar or another source, can winamp detect it?

nope; replay gain detection is usually a job for the input plug-in being used

so far, I've only seen in_vorbis, in_flac (3rd party), in_wv (3rd party), and in_mpc(3rd party) with replay gain support

...and as for "one after another" playback, turn on "repeat all" instead of "repeat track"

Try out mp3gain. It's a separate program that adds removable gain tags to your mp3s. The tags work with Winamp.
