I can't figure out where should deny the popping up the browser window when my winamp plays a wma music, even i got the plugin for it cant play it and attacks me the windows media player download center site.
So please tell me where can i set up the browser disable.
Thanks

First, upgrade to the latest Winamp 5.12
(5.1 is old & buggy and no longer supported)

There's a new Windows Media Decoder (in_wm.dll) in 5.12
so maybe that will solve your problems?

Secondly, it sounds like you are trying to play drm-protected WMA files.
These files require a license before they can be played,
which is probably why you get the browser popup for the Microsoft drm licence page.

If the files were encoded with DRM licensing, then this means that they can only be played on the computer that they were encoded/downloaded on, and no other.

If the drm licences have expired (some download services only offer a drm licence for a limited period of time) or are lost (eg. maybe you reformatted your pc but didn't backup the drm licenses), then you will not be able to play the files any more.

Did you encode these WMA files yourself using Windows Media Player, and if so, were they encoded on the same pc that you are trying to play them on?
Note that the default setting in "Windows Media Player 9/10 > Tools > Options > Rip Music tab" is "Copy protect music" = checkmarked (ie. uncheck this if you don't want your files to be drm-protected).
Also note that if you've never upgraded Windows Media Player, then the above option might be worded slightly different in the old WMP 8.1 (which comes by default with WinXP).

Likewise if they were purchased/downloaded (from eg. Napster, Walmart, etc)...
were they originally downloaded on the same pc that you are trying to play them on?

Alas, if the wma files are drm-protected and require a license before they can be played, then you cannot stop the drm license acquisition page from popping up.

Do those wma files play ok in Windows Media Player?

Thanks for kindly help.
I downloaded this wma in the past and i dont remember in which circumstances, but it was playable by the winamp after i required a license. Now the situation isnt the same, but i wonder why i can't other option to download a license. The only one is the mediaplayer download, but i need the license.
It is a pity because i like that music and i dislike the mediaplayer (and there is no downloadable license, why?), so maybe the only one action what i can do to erase it from hdd... :-((

Yup, afraid so. If the drm license has expired and is not renewable, then that's it. You'll never be able to play the file again :-(
