Sound problem in Winamp/Shoutcast

I have got a new dj trying to connect to my server in ShouCAST.

The problem we are encountering is that although they are able to connect, they are not able to send a stream (bytes) when the DSP output is set to Soundcard mode. The connection is soon cut off and the server logfile shows that there was no source.

However connection is established when using Winamp mode and a stream is sent without a problem. I believe they are using a realtek sound card and are behind a NAT with BT broadband. I am puzzled. Can anyone help?

The second issue is that when the DSP is set to soundcard mode, the volume level of the "wave/mp3" line is reset to an undesirably high level after the "Push toTalk" is clicked. What could be the cause?

Your assistance is appreciated.
