i need help fixing my winamp

i was mucking about with it to get it to work for doing a online station but now i cant get mp3's to work , i know i need to chnage some options , but which one ? can any of you help ?

What do you mean by “cant get mp3's to work”? They don't play? Plays, but no sound?

Is this a SHOUTcasting issue? Please provide system specs.

this problem has nothing to do with shoutcast .

Well, since you were mucking about for online station did you inadvertently select the Nullsoft Null Output plug-in?

Winamp > Ctrl+P > Plug-ins > Output > make sure DirectSound is selected
