has anyone here made a podcast before? or understand them

i understand the RSS stuff but arent podcasts like a series of mp3s

like i might have a podcast radio station featuring different shows ive had in mp3 format.

ie

show1.mp3
show2.mp3
show3.mp3

and so on

so like how do they just sign up for my "podcasts" so they can get each show as they come out/when they desire to get them

that kind of stuff
