ShoutCast Help plz

hey, i downloaded shoutcast and i am using the GUI server, but i dont know what i have to do with it to get my server running, i read the doccuments but they make no sense, can any1 help me set my server up thanks
i get:

change the password in the dnas config and then kill server and re-open it, make shure its teh same in the DSP

Edit sc_serv.ini - and read the help files... or you're gonna had a lot of trouble with this.

the only thing i can edit in notepad is "edit ShoutCast DNAS conifg" is there any easier way to config ?

that is the correct way to edit the config,

edit the config - save - restart the server - connect with new info.

just open "edit ShoutCast DNAS conifg" and look for the word "changeme" cause that is the default password and change "changeme" into a new password by just writing something else over it ,close the server and hit it back on and dont forget to put the same new password in the dsp so all you need is your mouse

ya, I did all that, but when I entered in my new pass onto the thing, it said it was invalid.

ok i found the Changeme and changed the password, i restarted the server, i know only get this:

ok ive followed the guides but i still have 1 problem lol i added the plugin and put in the password but it wont connect... any1 help?

so what password did you use?

and did you set it up in the dnas config?

are there any errors in the logs?

Last thing lol before i end this thread, i Will help others how to config because i now know thanks to you guys, how do i speak on the radio i have several listeners but i'm not sure how to speak lol heheheh thanks

start a new thread and put in your DNAS output. We do not knbow exactly what to fix when you only tells us you have a nak error.
