ATI Catalyst 6.2 & winamp videos crash

I recently updated my Radeon x800 xt driver to ATI's Catalyst 6.2, and ever since then, when I try to play a video in my winamp (v.5.13) it crashes winamp first, and then my whole system freezes not long after. Is anyone else having this problem? Playing mp3s and shoutcast radio is still fine in winamp, and all the videos are working fine with Windows Media Player. If anyone could help, i'd much appreciate it.

System:
Athlon 64 3500+ (939 pin)
ASUS A8V Deluxe mobo
1 GB Corsair PC3200
PowerColor Radeon X800 XT 256 AGP
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme
Windows XP Home SP2

.avi, .mpeg, .mpg, and .wmv are the ones I've tried. Windows Media Player plays them just fine. Everything worked before I had installed ATI Graphic Card driver Catalyst 6.2. I'd hate to roll it back to 6.1. Thanks again
