Songs are playing too fast...
Songs are playing too fast and they seem to be copying themselves over to my HD. I'm on a network, my songs (all mp3) are on a networked drive. When I try to play them, they go extremely fast, with no sound (with headphones on), and as I said, they seem to be copying themselves over to my PC's harddrive. I'm completely new to this, please help. It worked fine the first time I played the songs, but now for some reason it doesn't want to work.

Go to preferences -> Plugins -> Output and make sure DirectSound output is marked.
I guess, by mistake you've selected the DiskWriter.
