looking for skin on winamp home page (I think)

Had a skin with a prior version of Winamp; just upgraded and lost it. I believe it's the one that currently appears on the homepage (www.winamp.com). The main thing is that I was able to shrink/stretch it to cover the entire width of my screen but only be as high as the standard WinXP window titlebar, so I put it across the top of my screen and it was out of the way but always there just the same and had all the functions and display space necessary.

Can't seem to locate this. Thought perhaps it was "Winamp_5" but I don't seem to be able to modify the layout of that like I could before.

Any and all responses appreciated. Thanks.

Are you describing the winamp modern skin in toolbar mode?

You just upgraded and it vanished?, you didn't upgrade with the 'lite' installer did you? if you did download the 'full' installer, winamp modern is included with that version, ensure you also install 'modern skin support' when installing, it's usually checked by default but you might have unchecked it.

Possibly - if I knew what it was called I wouldn't have to ask, though, would I ?!

I believe I did do the 'lite' thing because I didn't want all that extra hooey - I just want to be able to play some mp3s while I work. I'll try and install the 'full' one and customize the installation.

Did it look like this...view attachement below.

If so, then it's the modern default skin in shade mode, redownload a full install and you'll be as right as ninepence.

If it was one of the other skins shown on the main page, then you are going to have to go back and refresh the page a few times until you see the one you want, they randomly pick different skins to show up there, but the main page does display a huge image of the default modern skin all the time.

Lucky I picked the right time to look at the main page, then.

Regardless, that was it - reinstalled the 'full' version and Bob's yer uncle!
