Another newbie ..server prob

I have tried to quickly scan the forum and havnt seem to have found an answer to my question

I have downloaded all the plugins etc and done the yellowpages thing..

Am i missing somthing really abvious here?...what do i do about the server?
the input tab is flashing away nice and green

I think my problem is the outbox

what adress should i put in..surley a server ip and not just LOCOLHOST??

In order to stream you need both Winamp and the DSP combo (which you clearly have) and the DNAS server application (or a hosting provider). If you install the server applicaiton locally you can use localhost as the IP and port 8000 (if you don't change it in the config file). The default server password is 'changeme' which I advise in doing before running the server publicly.

i have got a little further thanks again to the evil lou sites

i am now starting to think its a router problem..i have changed the firwall ones to allow 8000 and 80001 and when i put local host into my url it seems ok...i cant seem to be able to send a link that works so my mate can here it and it still has the dreaded nak command on my dns thingy that loads up first...
