Step 2 : Forwarding Ports 8000 and 8001 TCP on your router
Go to http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

Look up your router. If your router isn't there, go to the manufacturer website for help. Click on it. Click the "Default Guide" link and follow the screenshots to forward:

TCP Port 8000 to the Static IP you just gave your PC
TCP Port 8001 to the Static IP you just gave your PC

contact the router support team. Does your ISP allow you to configure the router and or support port forwarding?

It should take < 15 mins to download, install and get a shoutcast stream going with shoutcast dna's not 5-9 hours.

PM me if you want

~ According to the ship's log we're down to our last 3000 vomit bags. It'll never be enough.
search the forums! don't PM me on how-to, or ask me to setup you system. you do it so you learn.

Go into your router settings, and on my router theres a page called Services, I click that then press add service, i then add the ports needed and send it through to the PC, The router should give it a masked IP for example 192.168.0.2. press save, i then have to go onto firewall settings in my router then allow the forwarding port to go through. In some cases it has worked wth me, like i couldnt host a game on warcraft with my router but could with my modem until i forwarded the ports, try that if no look contact your Router Support team. Your router may be diffrent but theres some guidlines for you
