Same content over and over again
Hopefully my search for "buffer" and the 7 pages of searching proved that this wasn't posted before
![]() Basically, I'm streaming content from the mic of the computer. I've setup the latest Shoutcast server along with the latest DSP plugin. Despite working for the first time, now all I can hear from my server is the same bit of music over and over again. I suspect some sort of buffer issue? |

I have seen this as well if the dsp gets disconnected the server will play the same content about 60 seconds worth over and over if you reconnect to the stream. Try stopping the server and restarting the DSP again. try playing a 2 minute or longer MP3 over and over, you should hear the entire mp3 if the dsp is not disconnecting and reconnecting often. Watch your DSP stream and check the logs to see if you are having connection issues. If you were trying it today I wouldnt be suprised that you had problems. many shoutcast broadcasters had issues, it was as network problem or update not a user error.
Good luck. ~ According to the ship's log we're down to our last 3000 vomit bags. It'll never be enough. ![]() search the forums! don't PM me on how-to, or ask me to setup you system. you do it so you learn. |

I think this is a user issue. I was trying this locally on my network. The server wasn't being displayed as public. I'll try the hints as you suggested.
