just build a playlist with all of the songs you want to play in it, and edit your config file to shuffle the songs.

If you are interested, I use a program called station playlist creator, you can define rotations, categories, voice, promos, sweepers, etc I really love it, you just create a playist load it and watch it do it's thing, not sure if this is what you want, but it's worth looking into here is the address http://www.station************* hope it works out for you!

heh .... those playlist files from winamp can be opened with text editors... and once opened will reveal all needed song info plus some (key: remove the extinf crap and you are good to go).

well, you can drag your mp3's into the winamp playlist.... then save that playlist to your disk. Once saved, you can right click the file and choose 'open with' you can then edit that file to do what ever you want. Then all you need to do is point your configs at this playlist to pull music from.
This will only help you easily create a playlist for your 20gb of songs... |

very true. I apologize. I am more used to the console version in linux, where you need to build the playlist manually.
