Each track speed up playing for 5 sec

Hello,

I got a strange problem, each new track is after about 10 sec the playing speed is speedenup liek it is been fast farward for 5 sec and then it becomes normal, it do this for each next track.

Please can anyone help

if you are using windows, try redownloading (or grabbing it for the first time) the radium mp3 codec.

If you are using an intro file on your server, then this is likely the result of the intro file and your stream not being the same bitrate and frequency.

I am not using the Intro thing, and it is same on everyone's PC

get the radium codec and maybe play around with buffer sizes...

I installed radium, changed bitrate, tried different but same result it is realy annoying

More details.... What you describe can be caused by many things:

VBR MP3s -- sometimes they confuse the DSP... Check your MP3s anyway.

Speed [pitch] changes indicate mis-matches between the bitrate that the player thinks it's getting and the actual encoded bitrate being sent by the DNAS.

Source underruns -- if there is a network bottleneck between the source and DNAS, or the source box is at 100% CPU, the track transitions will not be encoded on-time because track changes in particular require a disk read and encode -- an over busy source box will not be able to do this well. TaskManager is your friend here.

If you're using crossfading turn it off and see what happens.

Thanks for the help i have many thing to test tonight I am on work now, Just a question i though also about crossfading but i dont remebr where to disactiavte this option in winamp. Coudl you help please
