Upgrade Popup Message
I have the new 5.2 upgrade version, and yet, when I start Winamp, I continually get this annoying message.
"Winamp 5.2 is now available for download. Upgrading is highly recommended" etc., etc. How can I make it go away? |

When did you download 5.2 exactly? A few days after the new installers were first available on the servers, a slightly newer build was uploaded which fixed some minor issues. Maybe that's what's causing it...
Either that or the update checker has gone weird... Prefs (Ctrl+P) > General Preferences > uncheck 'Check for new version of Winamp at startup' |

I cannot seem to get into the back room to make the changes.
Any suggestions on retrieving my username and password? |

Not sure what you mean. Username and password for what, exactly? You shouldn't need a username and password to change Winamp settings...? (only the settings for Online content ratings can have a password)
