Which Version of Win Amp

The requirements for WinAmp 5.2 in one section of the web site say that minimum is a Pentium 2 with 400 GHz and reccommended is a Pentium 3 with 1 Gig GHz and in another section say that the minimum is a Pentium 3 with 500 GHz and reccommended is Pentium 4 with 1.5 gig GHz.

Previously software which my computer met the minimum did not really work on the computer practically speaking and Ive been told that the reccommended requirements are really necessary for software to work correctly

My computer is a Pentium 3 with around 1 Gig GHz. Which version of WinAmp should I use.

if you're using modern skins then a higher spec processor is required. if you're using classic skins (aka winamp 2.x skins) then really it'll work on a pentium class processor fine as long as you're not doing too much.
