Can't Open Decoder Wows
First of all, I'm new. Thanks for the help.
I have Winamp 5.2 with Rebontek Surround Sound. I've installed Winamp twice. I get the same message every time I try to Burn a CD "Can't Open Decoder". I've looked around the FAQ already I see similar problem. I try what they say, but, none of them seem to work. It gets worst, WinAmp starts to "No Response". I use other programs to burn and they work fine. It is only when I use WinAmp. What am I doing wrong?

for you young guys]. And burning them on CD. I think I installed something like that, but I'm not sure. The only third party is the Rebontek Surround Enhancer.

Yea, looks like I got MP3Pro in the plugin folder with Winamp. Should I manually Delete it?

Well I uninstalled MPEG4. I has the following plugins
Nullsoft CD Plug-in (CDDB2)v3.13 [in_cdda.dll] " Linelnplug-in v3011 [in_linen.dll] " MIDI player 3.1 [in_midi.dll] " MPEG Audio Decoder 3.5 [in_mp3.dll] " Waveform Decoder 3.0 [in_wave_dll} " Windows Media Decoder 3.1 [in_wm.dll] Do I have to delete any more? Becuase it still is doing the "Can't Open Decoder" error. |

MPEG-4 (in_mp4.dll) is not the same as MP3pro!
in_mp4.dll comes with the full version of Winamp, and allows you to play m4a and mp4 files. But if you don't have m4a/mp4 files, then it's not really a problem that you deleted the plugin. The input plugins that are left shouldn't be a problem. What's the file format of the files you're trying to burn? (mp3/wma/etc.) If you're trying to burn DRM protected wma files, I don't think you can with Winamp... |
