Help with Visualizations
Hey guys. I have a AMD Athalon 3000+, WinXP SP2. I have the Soyo Dragon 2 v 2.0 MB and a ATI Radeon 9600. I have 1gb of Dual channel ram in my computer. I am running Winamp v 5.13 Full. Now, on to my question. I recently tried using the visualizations for basically a screen saver, which is what I've done in the past with all the other versions of Winamp. Now, I looked on winamp, and I've searched the forums, and the FAQ's but I still couldn't find my answer. I would like the visualizations to stay on the visualization that I choose. However it seems like every 30 seconds it changes. How do I turn that OFF? That is driving me NUTS and I would like to fix this.

If AVS, while visualization is running...
Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Visualization > Advanced Visualization Studio > click 'Configure' button menu Settings > Presets/Hotkeys > uncheck 'Randomly switch presets' Pressing R while AVS window is focused will toggle that option. In the default Modern Skin you can use the 'Random' button in the Visualization window. For Milkdrop, while Milkdrop window is focused: press R to toggle random/sequential preset order turn on Scroll Lock to lock current preset Optionally, while Milkdrop is not running: Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Visualization > Milkdrop > click 'Configure' button tab Customizations > check 'Start milkdrop with preset lock (scroll lock key) ON' |
