Error Resolving Yp.shoutcast.com

I have been getting this error from the following ip: 65.98.29.162

I have been informed taht the firewall is off and the server is public so listeners can reach it but it just doesn't list on shoutcast.com

I am using a five digit port, could this be the problem?

does anyone know if shoutcast might have blocked me?

does anyone have any idea's?

A five diget has nothing to do with it,.

can you ping yp.shoutcast.com from your stream server ?
Who's the sysadmin of that system, would be a good start. If its your personal PC make sure you are allowing connecting from winamp to the internet, and the DSP itself and connections from yp.shoutcast.com etc.

grrr... I never said anyone was blocking you. You computer needs to be able to resolve yp.shoutcast.com, and yp.shoutcast.com needs to be able to see your stream on the port you have it listening on.

ping yp.shoutcast.com (did that work?)

Hey what is your IP address on the INTERNET and I can see if I can talk to it with winamp.
