how to restore ML playlists

Hello!

I recently installed winamp 5.21 and i would like to know how to restore my old (winamp 5.00...) ML playlists. I have made backup of my old winamp folder and winamp.ini also - in the sub-folder "ml" there are about 200 *.m3u files (plf3E35.m3u, plf84F2.m3u, etc). I tried simply "import playlist from file", but unfortunately it names those playlists as plf3E35.m3u, plf84F2.m3u, etc., although before these playlists were titled like "fresh hh CD-14", "old school CD-36", etc.

Please help me recover those lost titles of playlists...

p.s. excuse my my improper english lol

You need to replace Winamp\Plugins\gen_ml.ini with the backed up version
and then place all the *.m3u files back in the plugins\ml folder.

I'm not 100% sure, but you might also have to place the associated *.vmd files in there too (open gen_ml.ini in Notepad to find out which *.vmd files are associated with which *.m3u files). Possibly not, but the main thing you were missing was gen_ml.ini
