Winamp Volume Control affects Skype!!!!
Hi,
my problem is that when I'm using Winamp during a Skype Session the usage of the volume control of Winamp affects also the volume of Skype. That means that the voices of the people I'm talking to are also getting silent/louder. If I use the Windows Media Player this effect doesn't appear. I can change the volume of the music without changing the volume of my Skype conference. As I wish to listen to music while playing&talking I need to turn the music more silent but the voices need to stay on the same (louder) level. Does anybody know what to do? |

Windows OS? Soundcard? DirectX version? Winamp version? At a guess, you're using waveOut Output in Winamp and need to be using DirectSound Output instead (Winamp > Prefs > Plugins > Output > hi-lighted plugin) |
