You can use VLC to play NSV video with x264 in it. However, you are limited with your audio options to AAC+ v1 because VLC doesn't support Parametric Stereo and a few other things that AAC+ v2 uses. You could also use MP3 for audio, but why would you want to? (And the VLC plugin for FireFox will play it in the browser if thats what you want)
