Song Skip On Search
heya everyone, thanks in advance for all your speeding nurons.
aite, so i have a crap load of songs. so when i am listening to something and i go to search through the library, the song playing stops or skips for the time Winamp is running the search. I am about to host a massive party and i always use my pc for music and my favorite player Winamp. So before i look for alternatives(nothing as good as Winamp), i need to try and see if anything can be done. Thanks for years of kicking the llama's ass..... |

Hi,
maybe try these DirectSound output tweaks. If no luck... Do you have the latest version of Winamp? (5.21) Any 3rd-party plugins installed? What file format are your files in? (mp3/wma/etc, any difference?) Also, please provide system specs (read this!). |

You're welcome
Specs can be helpful since sometimes specific issues turn out to be related to specific system setups. But fortunately the fix was simple in your case, good to hear it worked
