Corruted ML

Everytime I start up winamp I get an error that reads:

the file or directory C:\Program Files\winamp\Plugins\ml\main.idx is corrupt and unreadable.
Please run the chkdsk utility.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit:I have tried to delete the file numerous times, but it won't allow it.

Make sure you are trying to delete the file when Winamp is closed. Otherwise, do that the error message says,

Start > Run > chkdsk.

Better yet, Start > Run > chkdsk /R
It will ask if you want to run on next boot, say yes, reboot and wait until it is done.
