It can take several hours (or maybe even longer) to be listed, but that doesn't mean your station isn't available for people to listen to you. It just means that you shouldn't rely on the shoutcast directory for people to find your station there, especially if your station is constantly going off the air, then back on everytime you do a show. Set up a link on your own site and direct your listeners to go there to tune in. You can't be dependent on the directory.
