Advanced Title Formatting Help

First of all, I want to ask why is the Title Formatting option under Title/Tags tab in Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder 3.5 plugin removed? I used to have the following settings under it:
Quote:
%1 - %2 - %3 - %6 - %5
Basically, it displays in the playlist the following information:
Quote:
artist - title - album - genre - comment
If the tags are not ID3 information is not present in the MP3, it is displayed in the playlist the filename of the MP3.

In the Advanced Title Formatting option, I use the following settings:
Quote:
[%artist% - ][$num(%tracknumber%,2) - ][$if2(%title%,$filepart(%filename%)) - ][%album% - ][%genre% - ][%comment% - ][ $repeat(* , %rating%) ][ %playcount%]
However, the issue that I have is that whenever I add MP3s in the playlist, the playlist still displays the songs in this format:
Quote:
artist - title
Can you guys help me with this?

does the ATF string change as soon as you have played the song?

go into preferneces > titles > metadata reading, and select the first choice, and ATF is enabled (checkbox)

i have already checked what you mentioned.

i have already tried the following from another thread but still no album display.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You might need to turn off metadata guessing:
Prefs > Media Library > tab Watch Folders > click 'Configure' button > select 'No guessing'
If your files are in the Media Library, you will probably need to clear your library and reimport your files:
Prefs > Media Library > tab Library Options > click 'Modify Settings' button > click 'Clear Media Library' button
(ratings, playcounts will be lost!)
To reimport:
Prefs > Media Library > tab Watch Folders > click 'Rescan now' button
Or try unchecking this option (instead of clearing ML):
Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Media Library > tab Library Options > click 'Modify Settings' button > 'Use Library title information for Playlist Item Formatting'
(if you don't want to lose ratings, etc.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

the problem is that i cannot get the album to display in playlist by inserting %album% in the default ATF options

what is the album title, is it a specific one, or all together? and it is an mp3?

right click the file in teh playlist > view file info (alt+3), and check if its properly tagged.
