VMR-7 requires XP both require Likely Both mixing engines do! sorry

When I installed and ran this, I kept getting this error:

System Error &H8007007E (-2147024770). The specified module could not be found.

Turns out, you are required to install MSOffice to make sure you have the right controls, but I did some searching, and you can download this file instead http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de.../html/cpad.asp which gives you the necessary files.

Hope that helps anyone with a similar problem!

I didnt know ffdshow alpha blended multiple video streams
with controllable Zorder and size and position(in real time)! Why am I waisting my time writing this? Does ffdshow use the vmr? The Video Mixing rendered that ships with DirectX9 is a 16 channel in 16 channel out mixer and usually requires C++ coding to utilize. Not only that, If one of us was smart enough and spent the time, We could have a special capture driver (compositor module) installed into it that encoded the output to nsv or whatever. All I want is to show up at the music club, turn on the projector, and blend images and control it like those old fasioned analog audio keyboard synthesizers with a.d.s.r. and occilators and tremolo/ strobe thingies.

Now.... Im not exactly pro-Microsoft, but when I learned my computer had a video mixer built in and all I had to do was create the windows form to control it, I was after it. thanks once again to fsfwrap that handled the c++ controlls of the VMR.

Since this is my first visual basic project, i can understand why I would have problems in distribution.
But hey this forum(nsv beta) has its "not user friendy" warnings and I figured having a buggy 4 channel mixer would be better than waiting until I perfect it.

ffdshow

hellow smelter,

i am not an authority on this ..but ihave beenplaying with it ..ffdshow...after spendingsome time on it reading and re reading TOQERS stuff i have come to be able to EFFECT my output realtime useing a loop back of the svid connector on my vid card... if i use 2 machins 4 the process i end up with ac hum in the audio my best attempt was with 2 machines ......1 does all the werk and the other is an extended desk top that i watch to monitor the out put
as the vid being captuerd is off screen...ie.the desk top area not seen on monitor 1
all ends up back thru a vcr.... some how washing the scanline effect...not realy sabi on the built into windows stuff or the vmr in windows codeing
you could use my metheod during live event but your lible to need roadies............lol
