An experiement for anyone with dual core
I heard on dual core systems you can set an application to realtime on one processor, and windows automatically gets the other one. Can someone with a dual core machine go to task manager, processes tab, realtime the nsvenc or nsvcap process and report back?

hey toqer ,
yes this true... by setting the application "affinity" your resources can be split.... intel "HT"=2X dual core "HT"=4x on an intel mach. i have been running a machine this way to do the live FFDSHOW additions to my vids...no dropped frames.. uses less than 20% of the cpuS my set up is in "your" other post about ffdshow.. dual screen /off screen tecniq = real motion on overlays this work nice.... good to see your post........ little worried about losing ya during all the yp hub bub john |
