Tinny - cant fix it

hi
I've been using winamp for a few years now. I have never had problems before. But yesterday the sound suddenly became all tinny and the bass isnt sounding good at all. I'v looked through the forums and tried doing what the help things say but nothing has worked. Its strange because it is only happening on winamp, so im guessing it cant be a hardware fault.

Hi,

maybe one of the following...

Try the DirectSound output tweaks.

Prefs (Ctrl+P) > DSP/Effect > select '(none)'

Turn off the Equalizer (right-click Winamp > Equalizer > click 'On' button if the light is on).
