Quicktime overriding?

I got a new Ipod and installed itunes. Now I have to keep quicktime installed on my PC for itunes to work. I have winamp selected as the default player for all files, and removed all quicktime as the default player for everything save quicktime movies.

Problem is I still get this any time I try to access an MP3 rather than the old option to save to disk/open when I try to access an MP3. This happens in IE or firefox.

What do I need to change?

QuickTime control panel --> Browser --> MIME settings

Uncheck MP3 and anything else you don't want QuickTime to handle in-browser.
