Problems
Hello
I want to list my stream in the Winamp INTERNET TV (Shoutcast TV). So the first thing I did was File - Set Capture Destination in NSVCAP. My settings are shown below: ![]() Then I started my stream. On my shoutcast server, it says that "<05/11/06@23:56:13> [source] connected from 127.0.0.1 <05/11/06@23:56:14> [source] icy-name:bla bla bla bla ; icy-genre:Video <05/11/06@23:56:14> [source] icy-pub:0 ; icy-br:128 ; icy-url:http://www.shoutcast.com <05/11/06@23:56:14> [source] icy-irc:#chan ; icy-icq:1234567 ; icy-aim:SomeUser" But when I try to view the stream in Internet TV or Shoutcast TV (same) , it's not showing up. Help would be greatly appreciated as I am a noob at all this! Thanks =) |

Thanks for clarifying that winamp internet TV was really shoutcast TV. I have been wondering about that for fucking YEARS now. Honestly, you're a lifesaver.

Hi everyone:
Ohh...And I suppose YOU do BORED WOMBLE???? Now, to vbwrong, the SHOUTcast TV YP has been flaky for the last several months (In fact, I hear the problem has grown to the point where it's starting to affect audio streams as well). As such, it could anywhere from a few seconds to a day or two before anyone sees your listing. My suggestion for a solution would be to 1). Set up a website and 2). Put an external link to your broadcast on it and/or install the appropriate ActiveX Control viewer for the codecs you will be using. You can get these from here (Sankt...Feel free to correct me on the link I just posted ). This way, you are assured that at least someone will find your station and will want to watch. ![]() Hope this helps ![]() Cheers everyone ![]() Pat (a.k.a. Jeeper One) Pat Cook Englewood, CO |
