Hmm flash plugin question..
I've been using a computer for a while, but all this codec and plug in stuff is vera vera new for me, hell I'm just now figuring out how to reprogram my flipping modem/router for ports..Now I'm an old dog learning new tricks, please be patient.
I need to know in simple understandable English please, LOL.. Is there any way to download embedded flash objects like those little videos you see on myspace and everywhere now? Is there a plugin/codec that can be used in winamp to play them, and where can I get it? I think that just about covers it..I tried to follow a few conversations I found in search but they were just to technical for me to understand because I have no reference for the terms they used. |

There are lots of different ways to embed videos in webpages. It depends on the way it is done whether you can manage to download the video file itself (or retrieve the URL to play it in Winamp).
Can you give an example? Flash files (SWF files) can be played in Winamp with the PlowerPlay II plugin. I never tried it myself though... http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=134889 See here for instructions: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....16#post1301916 |
