Help Part 2
I have the server setup and Winamp configured. How do people listen now? Is there a way to make a link or something?

wel duh! what port did you use for shoutcast or did you do the typical newbie thing and not read a damn thing? The port is 8000 by default, but you can change it whatever you want or to match what is on the server if someone else is hosting the stream server for you.
Also get your real IP address from sites like www.portforward.com or www.whatismyip.com they both will show you your address. Also if your server is setup for public access it will be listed on shoutcast.com Again SEARCH and READ, not just the first page full of messages that is a waste of time, click Search. ~D ~ According to the ship's log we're down to our last 3000 vomit bags. It'll never be enough. ![]() search the forums! don't PM me on how-to, or ask me to setup you system. you do it so you learn. |
