i m getting this weird error

Assertion faied!

i m getting this error and winamp just close

plz someone help me out

I assume you were trying to play a video at the time From what the error message says, there is probably a problem in libavcodec. Try installing the newest version of FFDshow and see if that helps.

Make sure that all your drivers (DirectX, video card, soundcard, etc.) are up-to-date.

Otherwise, post all system specs including a HijackThis log.
