well, you could have the dj's kill sc_trans. Then you could setup a cron job to check if sc_trans is running about ever 5 min. If the dj is still connected and sc_trans can't, then you would tell cron to exit nicely and check back in five min.
Server side, when the DJ disconnects, you are going to have dead air until the cron job runsand starts sc_trans again. However, this can be avoided via the use of a backup file that you specify in sc_serv. The result being, when the DJ disconnects, sc_serv looses its source and kicks on the backup file; then when cron runs the sc_trans job, sc_trans will kick back in and start feeding sc_serv a source. I know it is a lot of work, but that is about the only way to do what I think you are trying to do. |
