Linux: Stream Title Not Working !

I am using Linux Shoutcast to re-transmit a radio station to internet.
In the sc_serv.conf, the TitleFormat variable is not working !
Anything that I write there is ignored ! The stream title is the same as the source stream.

Help !

are you sure you uncommented the TitleFormat??? To uncomment the line, you need to remove the semicolon (;) from the beginning of the line. The semicolons tell sc_serv to ignore what ever is there and move on.

TitleFormat= may not work for relays [?].

Makes it too easy to outright "steal" a stream -- and it kinda undermines the whole concept of a relay, and the cluster logic that is created between relays.

And I am NOT trying to steal the stream because I have the station's permission to add my text to its stream !

Without a %s [percent+"s"] the string will replace the title. You may need to include it.

title updates do not work when you are relaying for someone else. it only works if you are the source to that server.
