PL & ML Windows don't size contents correctly
After upgrading to 5.21 Pro, I find that the Playlist and Media Library windows do not size their contents correctly.
In the PL window, the playlist extends down to under the buttons on bottom. In the ML window, the same happens plus the "Clear" buttons to the right of the Search and Refine fields are almost complete out of view, with only the leftmost edge visible. The status line with the summary info about numbers of tracks and file size is completely invisible. I am using the Modern skin, but have tried switching to Classic with the same result. Main and Video windows look alright. This is on a two-monitor XP/SP2 system running with a 120 DPI setting, main monitor with 1280x1024, secondary with 1024x768, Winamp usually on the secondary (moving it to the primary does not help either). After I found a thread by someone with the opposite problem (contents did not fill the windows), I tried to delete the mw_xxx entries from gen_ml.ini and deleting the default.vmd file from \winamp\plugins\ml - no joy. Also tried a de-/reinstall. I could buy the fact that the 120 DPI setting is responsible - I need that for some other apps - but older versions of Winamp displayed both windows correctly, so I hope there's something I can do about it. |

I have this exact issue. I upgraded to 5.21 just a moment ago and noticed the same thing as what you've described. I've taken a screenshot of it here. Note that the bottom scroll bar is partially hidden and the status bar under it isn't even visable. Also, the right-hand scrollbar has disappeared as well. I have only one monitor, and it's setup is as follows: 1280x1024 resolution, 96 dpi, 24bit colors. On a side note, I'm using bbLean (BlackBox) as my shell, which may or may not be related. I'm running Windows XP Professional, by the way.
Thanks, Valkarious |
