Skin problem

Hello!
I have this problem, i startet to greate a skin and i finished main.bmp modifing, but when i chose my skinn from winamp then the part what was main.bmü wasn`t the same in winamp than in main.bmp. What`s the problem?? What should i do??

I think what you should do is look at a skinning tutorial. Most of main.bmp is covered up by other bitmap files when winamp loads the skin. Only the background parts are saved. Things like the position bar, volume bar, balance bar, control buttons, etc are covered by other files.

First off, I think you want a template skin. A template skin is designed to paint over and it shows you what parts are covered up and what parts remain in the different files.

Skinner Atlas is the best one that I know of.

Second, you're going to want to read a few tutorials about making classic skins. These can be found in the Skinning Tips And Tricks Forum, but I'll post links to the most relevant threads from there:

I would advise reading them in the order that I posted them. There are other classic skin tutorials in that forum, but those should get you well on your way.
