Hi guys!
I am trying to get songs off a CD and onto my HD as 128kb mp3s. I'm trying to use the Output plugin v1.1, but it only has options for up to 56kb and doesnt seem to work anyway (i'm sure its configured it to output to the proper directory and that I'm not just looking for the file in the wrong place.) Could someone help out? or suggest another (possiblely easier?) way to do this? thanks for any help you might be able to give. kristen http://www.temperstantrum.com electronicmusicculturedata |

You need the profeesional version of the mp3 codec. I'd say use CDex instead. http://www.cdex.n3.net It's a cd ripper, it's free and converts CD audio to wave or MP3 using the LAME encoder.

thanks for the help. I'm still having a tough time though. CDex doesnt see my CD rom. Think this is a driver problem? or maybe because the songs on the disc are WAVs (they are my own songs) and not cda?

Are they wav files? If so go to explorer to copy them.
Make sure they are actual cd audio tracks. Try the CD in a CD player to be sure. If it is audio cd and the drive is not detected, make sure winodws can detect the CD rom drive and that any necessary drivers are loaded. |
