Where Is My Music?

Hi,

I'm new to Winamp, just downloaded it a week or so ago when i got my new notbeook and it was working fine but now i got a big problem.

All my music is gone. I spent a whole day ripping my cd's and now when I go to play any music in my library (including downloads) the player skips that song, then the next one (but not in order, totally random) then the next one and so on and so on...you get the picture...

Basically it's not where it was, i have looked through the folders I had it in and its not there and I have searched the harddrive and had no results of any music...

I had problems when i was ripping burnt cd's, something similar but they seemed to be just overwriting themselves and then I managed to get them all on there without a problem but they are gone, they are all there in my library, all the "links" to the songs, but NONE play.

Dunno if i missed another thread with this problem, sorry to the administrators if i did but i did look and didnt find anything.

So please, someone help me coz I dont wanna have to change players and re-rip everything!

where did you save it? cos that'll be where it'll be

it'll be there unless you deleted it

did you check c:\my music?
