Playlists are Missing.

Upon update to Winamp 5.22, all but two of my playlists are gone (I had about 30).
The only two that show up when I mouse over "Open Playlist from Media Libary" on the "Manage Playlist" menu are "Rap" and "Rock". I'm not sure if that means anything.

I did a System Restore, and all my playlists came back. It seemed to fix the problem, until I specified what filetypes I wanted Winamp to associate with. Then, they were gone again. Restarting does not help. I created all my playlists through Winamp, and I assumed it saves them under files, but I can't seem to find any.

PS: Wow, while writing this and trying to decipher the problem in Winamp, all the songs under "Rap" and "Rock" are gone now, too...This is so strange. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, but nope, that's not it. The folder

C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Winamp

...doesn't even exist on my system, not even under hidden files. I don't even know if it was there before. This is starting to worry me.

If multi-user was selected (accidentally or not) and then you used system-restore there after, it just may be the system-restore removed the C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Winamp folder.

Anyways, please post system specs. If there is something funky going on, maybe one of us can catch it.

That seems to have fixed the problem. I say "seems", because the playlists disappeared at such a random time and I haven't had time to test it in every situation.

I gave up on trying to get my old playlists back, but at least it saves my rebuilds. This problem was devastating for people with lots of lists... >_>
