Listing Issues
I have read off and on of various issues that shoutcast has with listing stations. Are there any particular hints that I need ot check - because I am not getting listed. The DSP says that shoutcast successfully added me, but I can not find my listing.
I have tried searches on the information that I submitted but nothing. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. |

So, it is not me. That is a relief. I have enough issues on this end to worry about. Trying to stream three servers on this LAN is a lot of stress. Oh, to be rich and be able to afford a T1 and a whole new Novell network.
Thanks for your response. I can connect directly to my port. So I know it is there. |

Stream Listings
Thanks for the responses folks. I was just concerned that it waspossibly something I could fix. Apparently not.
Fortunately I am mature (read "old") enough to let it go at that. I hope that they get it working soon. But as long as it is not me ... I can let loose a big *sigh* and work on my other issues. Things like - why can't I run more than one stream to the same computer? I run to one computer on my network for shoutcast and another for StreamerP2P. Not having the engineer or techy type of background that some of you have, could their be some kind of conflict with running two streams to the same computer? Have a great day folks! |
