Keep video window size?

Hi,

whenever I start a video, the video window switches to the original size of the video and also stays like this after stopping the video.
Is there a way to make the video window return to its original size after playing a video? I hate resizing the video window manually after every video I watch.

it does that automatically by default

preferences --> video --> resize window to fit video

locking the aspect ratio might be a good option aswell.

I don't dislike the fact that the window automatically fits itself to the video size, but is there an option to make it reset to its original size after watching a video? I can't find any.

As far as I know, you can't.
