Sound Problems Pls Help

Well its probably straight forward but, I play PC games and love running music at the same time but on WOW when i turn the sound up or down on the Winamp it changes the game sound, i have been told to changes the plugin to Direct sound but it did not help

Is there an option in WOW config to select the Audio Device?
If so, what is selected at the moment? Is there an option to use DirectSound instead of WaveOut?

Well thx for ur reply, Sorry i did not read the first topic befor posting.

OS - XP Pro (service pack 1 only)
DirectX - 9c i think
Sound Card -0 Creative Labs ZS, Drivers that came with it
CPu - 3.5 AMD 64
Ram - 1024
Winamp - 5.22 and fu installation

And i am afraid that there is no options in WOw to select output only level of sound, i was told that setting Winamp to direct sound would help but no joy
