Hi,
I went through the same thing. Here is what I found. In your Windows Networking Control Panel, where you configure your IP network adapter, you need to make the network connection on your computer STATIC, like 198.168.1.101, or what ever is correct for the router you have. Next, on the router, you need to have the port forwarding set up. Go to http://www.portforward.com/ and set up the port forwarding on your router... You see, port forwarding only works when the network adapter is set to STATIC. Once I did that, as well as the other stuff in the help forum here it all worked. |
