i don't know if anyone is aware of this but when WMA file is played and being paused..attempting to seek will make your Winamp freeze...

there are lots of problems regarding WMA files being seeked while playback...

Specs:

Winamp 5.23 (a very clean install)
Pentium MMX
Windows XP SP2
256MB RAM

No additional plugin installed
uses the WaveOut and Directsound during the freeze event...
using Classic Skin...

it only freezes then when you attempt to close, the "End Now" or "Cancel" is the only option...
