Concerning Guitar, jack converters and visualisations (milk drop)

I'm looking for a way for me to play my guitar with milk drop responding to my playing through the jack, just to make solo jamming a bit more interesting. I've looked as best I could for about the past half hour and I can't find anything about it, please help me! :P

whether it's through a another program or plugins I'm happy

I wonder if the linein plugin will help you. It's installed with winamp.

Open Location (CTRL+L from Winamp main window) > type in linein:// and play it. Then make sure your recording source is set to the port that your guitar is plugged into (Windows Mixer Recording).

I've never tried to use the linein plugin to affect visualizations though. Can anyone confirm this?
